We Forgot Who We Are.

Once upon a time, communities raised children, elders were revered, and values were passed down like heirloom.

Today, we scroll past wisdom and double-tap foolishness. We live in an age where chaos is glamorized, and discipline is ridiculed. It makes me wonder, have we truly progressed, or have we lost ourselves along the way?

We are the most connected generation yet the loneliest.

We speak of freedom but live in bondage to trends, screens, and fleeting validation. We've traded patience for speed, character for clout, and spirituality for aesthetic rituals.

What happened to integrity? To honesty, empathy, and accountability? Our grandparents didn't have much, but they had principles.

They respected marriage, feared God, honoured their parents, and raised children with purpose.

Today, it's common to see families divided, children raising themselves, and love reduced to transactions.

We Glorify "soft life" without the hardwork. We romanticise toxicity and call it "vibes".

Our music, our media, our conversations, they echo pain, emptiness, and confusion, masked as confidence.

This isn't to shame us. It's a plea. A plea to return. To seek truth. To live with intention. To raise children who know what it means to be human, not just online, but in spirit.

Our ancestors may not have had modern tools, but they had ancient wisdom.

Let me be clear, this isn't a rant. It's a reflection.

I'm part of this generation too, trying to figure it out like everyone else. But sometimes, I look around and feel this deep ache, like we've lost something sacred.

Maybe it's time we pause. Re-evaluate. And reconnect with what really matters. Not for the gram, not for trends but for our souls.

Because if we don't, what will we leave behind?
